I really don't know what the definition of an air pistol is, but any firearm with a barrel of less than 30cm and an overall length of less than 60cm is section 5 (illegal). Once you start talking about air rifles and pistols with less than 12 and 6 ft lbs I have not been able to find any information regarding minimum sizes, or the legal definition of an air pistol as opposed to rifle, hence my earlier statement: Examples of compliant guns would be the long barrelled Taurus revolvers etc which are allowed since the 1997 handgun ban. In that case, the barrel cannot be shorter than 30cm AND the overall length cannot be less than 60cm. The 30cm / 60cm rule I was refering to regards powder burning firearms as opposed to airguns. Just a thought as I'm doing a radical chop on an HW77k and was even considering a folding stock.not if it goes Section 5 though Or does this not apply to rifles that were manufactured as rifles and then modified? If it is then some of the Theoben Fenmans would be section 5.If it is both then a very small bulpup of length under 60 cm and a short barrel would be sction 5.how long are Skans? So is that a barrel less than 30cm AND an overall length of less than 60cm?
